Who We Serve

The Northwest Business Association (NWBA) serves Northwest Atlanta, Georgia, connecting neighborhoods, commercial corridors, and business districts within a single coordinated service area.

Our territory is anchored along the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway corridor and extends north and west through the Bolton Road corridor and surrounding communities.

A Corridor-Based Business District

NWBA represents a corridor-driven economic district anchored by major commercial, industrial, and neighborhood-serving corridors across Northwest Atlanta, including:

  • Retail, service, and storefront businesses along Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway
  • Community and neighborhood-serving businesses along Joseph E. Boone Boulevard
  • Industrial, logistics, and trade businesses along Bolton Road and nearby industrial corridors
  • Residential communities that support and desire local commerce.
  • Strategic growth and redevelopment areas extending through the Hamilton E. Holmes corridor, toward the I-285 gateway, and into adjacent Upper Westside commercial districts

This connected network of corridors, neighborhoods, and growth areas allows NWBA to support a diverse mix of small businesses, service providers, industrial operators, property owners, and community stakeholders across a broad section of West Atlanta.

Our Regional Reach

NWBA’s territory spans multiple:

  • Neighborhood Planning Units (NPUs): J, G, I, D, and C
  • City Council Districts: 9, 3, 10, 11, and 8

This unique positioning allows NWBA to connect community, business, and development interests across multiple parts of Northwest Atlanta.

Who Can Become a Member

You are eligible for NWBA membership if:

  • Your business is physically located within the NWBA territory
  • You operate along the Hollowell Parkway, Bolton Road, Joseph E. Boone, or Upper Westside corridors
  • You serve customers within NWBA neighborhoods
  • You own property or operate a business within our mapped boundary

Our Mission

NWBA exists to strengthen the Northwest Atlanta business environment by:

  • Supporting local businesses
  • Connecting stakeholders across neighborhoods
  • Advocating for economic development
  • Promoting investment in our corridors
