NORTHWEST BUSINESS ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP 

NWBA welcomes all businesses to contribute to the wellbeing, success and fellowship of the Northwest Atlanta business community.  There are several levels of membership suited for storefront and residential entrepreneurs  located within Neighborhood Planning Unit J (NPU-J) neighborhoods, storefronts along the Northwest corridor of Donald Lee Hollowell as well as businesses located outside the boundaries of the organization as affiliates.  All are welcome!! 

  • Membership is based on the physical location of your business. 


MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

  • Participation as a volunteer board of director. Active members of NWBA may serve on the board to represent the community. 
  • Automatic membership directory listing with acceptance of membership application.  
    • Membership is based on the physical location of your business and your STOREFRONT or DHL PKWY STOREFRONT addresses will be listed.  
    • NWBA verifies addresses to ensure correct level of membership.
  • Business consultations from startup to scaling to determine the correct path.  LET US KNOW WHAT YOU NEED
  • Connection to funding and grant resources. 
  • Technical assistance:  City of Atlanta business license, ATL in Business and other programs. See our resources page for more. 
  • Voting rights for important issues, volunteer board of directors and bylaws. * Affiliate members do not have voting rights.
  • Sponsorship opportunities: Monthly meetings and neighborhood events. 
  • Monthly networking with fellow business owners. 
  • Annual membership dues are tax deductible. 
  • YOU ARE CONNECTED TO YOUR BUSINESS COMMUNITY AND NEIGHBORS. 

CHOOSE THE MEMBERSHIP THAT FITS YOUR BUSINESS

DLH PKWY CORRIDOR STOREFRONT

$100 annual membership dues based on the date you join. 

  • Your business is located on northwest corridor of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway between the Bankhead Marta Station and Interstate 285. 
  • Your business is a STOREFRONT with hours of operation open to the public. 
  • This level is not based on specific neighborhoods. 

RESIDENT ENTREPRENEUR

$50 annual membership dues based on the date you join. 

  • YOUR RESIDENT BUSINESS is located in one of the following neighborhoods of NPU-J: Grove Park, Center Hill, Dixie Hills, Penelope Neighbors, Hamilton Homes or West Lake. 
  • Your business is located in a RESIDENCE and has hours of operation by appointment.
    • If your RESIDENT BUSINESS is located OUTSIDE of these communities along the NW corridor of DLH Pkwy- your business would be an AFFILIATE member level.


NEIGHBORHOOD STOREFRONT 

       $100 annual membership dues based on the date you join. 

  • Your NEIGHBORHOOD STOREFRONT BUSINESS is located in one of the following neighborhoods: Grove Park, Center Hill, Dixie Hills, Penelope Neighbors, Hamilton Homes or West Lake.
  • Your STOREFRONT business is located in a publicly accessible location and has posted hours of operation.

AFFILIATE 

$50 annual membership dues based on the date you join. 
  • Your RESIDENT OR STOREFRONT business is located OUTSIDE of one of the following neighborhoods: Grove Park, Center Hill, Dixie Hills, Penelope Neighbors, Hamilton Homes or West Lake.
  • Your RESIDENT OR STOREFRONT business is NOT LOCATED on the NW corridor of  Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway.
  • Your business has a vested interest in the communities of NWBA and the NW corridor of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway.
  • This membership level does not have voting rights. 
  • For general public services including police, fire, library, post office, and public officials within the county, state and City of Atlanta. 
  • This is an honorary level. 
  • All civic services will be listed in the directory. 
  • Thank you for supporting small businesses.
